All Things Bright and Beautiful

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell,
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.

[From the hymn written by Cecil F. Alexander, 1848]

Brighter and more beautiful every time. Your capturing of such simple, rare beauty is such a blessing---sure I'd probably have seen (and probably HAVE) each and every one of ONE of those--on purpose or in passing.

But these---they're right there in your album for the taking, like I just looked my eyes full, slowly down the page.

I realized that you've saved everything at its MOMENT. And save for the Tiger, Peacock, Flamingoes and that ethereal, eternal Ginko---all have perished in the way of all things. A beautiful life, for a tiny span, and gone to make way for more.

You'll capture more, and share them, but for now there are THESE. And they're amazing.
